DRUG TESTING Drug Testing equivalent terms and price in HIS: METHAMPHETAMINE/TETRAHYDROCANNABINOL (MET/THC) – 279 COLLECTION & PROCESSING FEE – 108 Pap smear Can be done by a Doctor (OBGYNE) in their clinic, or at the OPD Unit. If patient opts to proceed to OPD Unit, follow these steps: (1) Proceed to the laboratory for charging. A charge slip will be given to you. Once you have the charge slip, proceed to billing. (2) At the Billing dept., present your charge slip and pay for the procedure. Once you have the official receipt, proceed to the Histopathology unit. (3) At the Histopathology unit, present your Official Receipt in order to claim your pap smear kit. Once you have the kit, proceed to OPD. (4) At the OPD unit, inform the unit in charge of your procedure. If there is no available slot for the day, a staff member will inform you of the next available schedule. (5) After the procedure, bring your kit (specimen) back to the Histopath Unit. The result is available 7 working days after the specimen is submitted. Some laboratory tests require a written prescription and prior assessment from the attending physician, while there are also tests that can be availed as per patient’s preference.

Papsmear – Papsmear kit will be given to the patient. The patient may opt to have the procedure performed either at the OPD or at her OB Gyne’s Clinic. The patient shall personally submit the kit with the specimen at the lab. The result is available 7 working days after the specimen is submitted. Bone Marrow biopsy – Results are released within 5-7 working days. 2nd opinion tests – Cases wherein patients submit their samples/specimens for 2nd opinion. (e.g. procedures performed in other hospitals). Results are available within 5-7 working days. Peripheral Blood Smear Test – Results are available within 5-7 working days. Frozen Section Biopsy – STAT procedure. Result is available after 30 mins.
